For those of you oblivious to Belgium's national monument: this is the Atomium, a steel representation of an iron atom, built for the 1958 World Fair in Brussels.
I took this picture almost two years ago, right after it's major restoration (and polishing, apparently  )Please note that this is about the best picture I've ever taken with my old Canon Ixus iZoom, one of the crappiest cameras I've ever had the misfortune of owning. |
